FOREVER HOME IN ILLINOIS – $77,000

A Forever Home suitable for a Slytherin

First impressions: This place is GRAND! I love it. The original features that millionaires spend, well, millions trying to replicate, and this house is gifting the originals.

The staircase is casually imposing, and with the right design choices, it could be a talking point for anyone who walks through the door. There’s enough panelling to make any Pinterest woman faint, and the sliding doors are a personal favorite!

The Slytherin fireplace in the corner of the main room seems to be the best-kept feature in the house, so I guess that it’s fully functional, although you may want to get Bert from Mary Poppins in to sweep it first.

The floors need sanding, and don’t think that will be done in a day, but the results will make the process worth it, trust me. The sunroom needs to be painted white and lightened up immensely. Could someone do that for me, please?

Upstairs, the bedrooms all seem to be a decent size, and I would suggest adding one or two more bathrooms (one being an en-suite because this house is crying for a master bedroom). The attic, in my opinion, is a gem! It’s untouched, accessible, and light. It makes me think of the Kimpton in Amsterdam!
